Tonsilotren is a homeopathic medicine. Chronic or repeated acute tonsillitis (fever, redness of the throat, burning sensation and swelling of the tonsils, difficulty swallowing, stabbing pain radiating to the ears, swelling of the neck lymph nodes), enlarged tonsils (tonsillar hyperplasia), as well as complex therapy after tonsillectomy. In case of catarrhal angina, the drug can be used together with other means as maintenance therapy.
How to use Tonsilotren. Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist. The recommended dose is: Adults. In acute cases, take 1 tablet every hour (no more than 6 tablets per day) until improvement is observed. For further treatment, use 1-2 tablets 3 times a day. In cases of chronic or repeated acute illnesses, use 1-2 tablets 3 times a day. In case of enlarged tonsils, use 1 tablet 3 times a day. Use in children and adolescents. For children aged 2 to 11 years In acute cases and for further treatment, use 1 tablet 3 times a day. In case of chronic or repeated acute illness or enlarged tonsils, use 1 tablet 3 times a day. For children aged 12 and over. In acute cases, take 1 tablet every hour (no more than 6 tablets per day) until improvement is observed. For further treatment, use 1-2 tablets 3 times a day. In cases of chronic or repeated acute illnesses, use 1-2 tablets 3 times a day. In case of enlarged tonsils, use 1 tablet 3 times a day. All age groups. In cases of chronic or recurrent acute illness, it is recommended to repeat the course of therapy (several treatment cycles per year, each 6-8 weeks). This medicine should not be taken with food and drink. Leave an interval of at least half an hour. The medicine should be taken half an hour before or after meals. The tablets should be allowed to dissolve slowly in the mouth. For small children, the tablets can be dissolved in a small amount of water.
